As a self-taught artist, I began drawing and painting to find solace from a traditional, highly demanding corporate job. Most of my work is reminiscent of my home country of Sri Lanka, which I left 30 years ago to move to Florida. I recently launched my home-based art studio, The Art Milieu, as I have been approached by numerous private collectors seeking pieces of my work. My hope is that my creations will bring the spiritual beauty and peace that I attribute to my Sri Lankan background, in an aesthetic and meaningful way.
